Who's behind It?
BANZAI is the animation and IP-creation boutique studio, founded by Javier Salazar, a director, writer, and illustrator born in Argentina an undisclosed number of years ago.
As the creative lead of the studio, for over two decades Javier has collaborated with talented artists and good friends, to bring stories to life through animated series, documentaries, and award-winning short films. He has also advised and directed projects for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Turner, Disney, and Mattel, among others.
In 2021, he relocated with his family to Vancouver, Canada. There, when he is not directing a project or crafting a new picture book, he likes to spend time in nature, enjoying the summer trails, hitting the winter slopes, and occasionally dodging a bear or two.
