Who's behind It?
BANZAI is the animation and IP-creation boutique studio, founded by Javier Salazar, a director, writer, and illustrator born in Argentina an undisclosed number of years ago. ​

As the creative lead of the studio, for over two decades Javier has collaborated with talented artists and good friends, to bring stories to life through animated series, documentaries, and award-winning short films. He has also advised and directed projects for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Turner, Disney, and Mattel, among others.​​​
​
In 2021, he relocated with his family to Vancouver, Canada. There, when he is not directing a project or crafting a new picture book, he likes to spend time in nature, enjoying the summer trails, hitting the winter slopes, and occasionally dodging a bear or two.
